We’re pleased to offer you the services of the Lady Alderbrook, our very special cruise boat for private occasions. Accommodating up to 80 guests, and featuring a full bar, The Lady is a truly awesome way to explore the beauty of the glacier-carved Hood Canal while enjoying a leisurely dinner and drinks.

As your group departs from the dock at Alderbrook, enjoy cocktails on the outer deck. Watch the sun set on the Olympic Mountains while the boat cruises through gorgeous, pristine waters of Hood Canal. Pause to observe passing seals at play. Watch the full moon rise, illuminating the sky. Take a moment to observe the gorgeous silence. Then relax in the comfort of the main cabin, where you can savor local and imaginative Pacific Northwest cuisine prepared specially by Alderbrook.

Located two miles west of Alderbrook Resort, Hood Canal Marina provides easy access to a fuel dock (gas and diesel) as well as seasonal groceries and supplies.

For those in the know, a Seaplane experience is unique to any other, where spectacular views substitute in-flight movies and uncanny airplane meals are bypassed completely. Flights are fun, fast and every trip offers a different adventure. Watch from 1,000 feet up as the lively downtown Seattle leads to vast inland waterways of Puget Sound, snow-capped peaks of the Olympic Mountain range and the unsurpassed vistas of Hood Canal.

Alderbrook Resort & Spa proudly offers the opportunity to land and take-off directly from our own designated Seaplane Dock for: fine dining, special events or overnight stays when using this unique mode of transportation, steeped in rich, Hood Canal history. The Hood Canal Marina has an offsite secured trailer parking lot that is available for guests trailering their boats and using one of the area launch ramps – $10.00 per day.

Twanoh, Union and Potlatch Ramps. The boat launch ramps along Hood Canal are affected by the tide. Be prepared and know your tides!

If you are planning on using one of the boat ramps on Hood Canal, do yourself a favor and check the tides first. Go online or pick up a tide book for the Seattle area. Hood Canal tides are within a few minutes of the Seattle schedule, so no need to do all the calculations. Most of the launches will be inaccessible during low tide…especially minus tides. To have a stress free launch experience give yourself 2 hours on either side of the minus low tides. Most of the launches need a plus 5 tide for a safe launch.
